The first self is the “false self” otherwise known as “ego.”

This false self was created when we were very small as a result of a failure we experienced. As a result of this failure, we judged ourselves negatively and as a result of this “judgment”, our egos were born.

From its inception, our egos have ruled our lives, and taken over the role of our real “self”. Its persistent view of itself is that there’s something wrong with it (or you).

According to the judge you, criticize you, you are compared to others (positive or negative). It is based on the size of your bank account, your identity and self-worth, your intelligence, how many material things you own, your beauty, how many friends you have, your level of education, how many mistakes you made in the past and an almost unlimited number of other factors.
Since the ego was created on the very premise that something was wrong with you, it will NEVER, EVER feel secure with itself. It will ALWAYS be looking for something to fill up the perceived hole it has in its bucket. Even if it does feel a semblance of security due to its acquisition of some external thing (tangible or intangible), it lives in constant fear that because that thing that is giving it a “sense” of worth is external, it could be taken away from it at any time. Thus it is never truly secure with itself and will always be on edge.

It is said that there are really only two forces in the Universe, fear and love. The ego is motivated by fear.

Because the ego is motivated by fear, truly using the Universal laws and principles of reality creation for manifesting abundance is out of the question for it.

Why?

God created real trust. Ego
Limited, finite things can not really connect to God. In addition to any man unable to connect to God. Self is artificial, it is "human" you. It is full of fear, when you are afraid you can not connect to love. God is love. If you want to learn and effective use of his law to create your own reality based on the desire, he is on your mind, you can not be afraid.
Fear separates us from God.

The unfortunate thing is that most of us identify with our egos most of the time, and our egos have run amuck in our lives. Manifesting abundance is truly impossible when we’re coming from our egos, because it will always see scarcity.

Then there are our true, infinite selves.

The true self is the self that was “fearfully and wonderfully made.” It’s the “self” that we were born with. It sees nothing wrong with you because it knows you were made perfect, and thus, it sees no need to judge or criticize you. It sees no need to judge and criticize others both because it has nothing to compare to with others and has everything YOU need. It doesn’t see your worth in terms of any external thing, rather, it sees your as worthy just because you ARE.

Our true self is all the noise and clutter of self calm. It is based on all the self and to predict the response to external stimulation to calm. Although the self must constantly look back to determine, for you and others know how to move forward, the real self-knowledge you through and through, and in the present comfortable life and to flow with the universe.
Real self, because it is created by God, is connected to God, to connect to love. Therefore, it is essentially to understand the reality of the creation of laws and principles, because it is one of them. It is understood that one with the universe, so it do not doubt its laws to run.
It was arranged by God knows where your heart desires, move it so he can be allowed by law to reveal them in your life for his. That's because the whole process a single external appearance when the desire to seem as though you did not come to you, do not be afraid. My own desire is already true, people feel a connection has taken such hold of them I did not realize the physical area.
The true self is unattached to any outcome because it has already taken hold of it.

Thus, if you really want to fully be the master of your destiny, and create the reality that you desire from your heart, you must stop identifying with your ego and connect with your TRUE self.

Connecting with your true self is the first real step of creating your own reality. By continuing to identify with the ego, it will continue to sabotage your efforts at creating abundance in your life.
