I would like to continue our discussion on WHY you. Now when we all know you because you, the leadership will eventually come in the conversation. I admit, leadership is a term often thrown around loosely, but do not mistake … You leadership is absolutely critical to your success.
Now you probably saying, “If I’m in business for myself, then whom would I be leading?”
Well the answer is simple…anyone and everyone who is your prospect. But most importantly you MUST lead yourself.
Everyone knows that people do not sell because of what you Why do they buy to sell it. So if your not clear on your Why, you really do expect others to buy it? As a leader that others will follow and himself under a stand for your own success, is not always an easy task, but if you master these skills, personal and financial future, you will never be the same.
Remember when you were in high school, we have a class clown. Most of the time is not the best student (no offense to class clown), but we have to follow some of the views. They are a leader, but not in any sense, we believe that today's leaders, but it is a carefree, "saying that" attitude, watching their antics to sell us.
Just picture having that same “class clown” in a wall street investment house (Wait, They’re Already There), well maybe a prestigious law firm (No…That Doesn’t Work Either), well let’s just say in corporate america.
If you worked with them, would they be a leader you would still follow today?
Tell you just think about it and we’ll get back to that in a minute.
Now pull up a chair and listen close, because I tell you a secret that will help you go to your leadership qualities. What I show is a very simple but powerful element of any successful entrepreneur, and this little information will help the task of leading yourself.
So here it is… Form Your Own Personal Board Of Directors!
You may or may not have heard of this concept, but it is extremely powerful. Your personal board of directors will be your private mastermind group to gain counsel on your dealings and will hold you accountable for you actions or lack there of.
The best part of this board is you can pick whoever you want…seriously.? Bill Gates, Derek Jeter, or even George Washington (Yes…The First President).
They can be alive or pasted on, in business, sport icons, or entertainers. What does matter is that you only pick people your truly admire, a person that would make you want to take notes when they were talking, a person getting the results you want.
Now I here you, how can master mind with someone who’s past on? And before you go there…no the answer is not a Ouija board, but by studying the way they lived, what made them tick, how the ran there lives and businesses.
Little by little you will begin to gain their counsel, as you understand their thought processes and how they would react to the opportunities that will be place before you.
Now, I would personally recommend a member of the board does not affect your living area more than two years. Therefore, in order to avoid this dilemma, keep it simple areas, such as … health, life / intelligence, wealth and education. You can go more in-depth growth of your success
